Living in the "And"
Losing a child changes everything — but no mother should walk that journey alone.
In August 2025, Mike & Cathy Rainey first generously gifted Warrior Moms the use of Briarpatch Farm in Eatonton, Georgia to host a Warrior Moms event for 50 grieving moms.
And now (exactly one year later) they’re helping us to do it AGAIN!
- When: Friday, October 16 - Sunday, October 18
- Where: Brairpatch Farm, 725 Pea Ridge Rd, Eatonton, GA 31024
- What: Teaching 50 new Warrior Moms to live in the 'and'
You’re officially invited to attend our second annual (and third overall!) Warrior Moms retreat! We’re holding at the same amazing, healing, magical space: where we had the very first one, Briarpatch Farm in Eatonton GA – thanks to the incredible generosity of the owners, Mike & Cathy Rainey and the rest of the Eatonton community.
Join us from Friday, October 16 to Sunday, October 18th and learn what we mean we say that we “live in the ‘and'”. Living in the “AND” means honoring profound grief while allowing joy, hope, & light to exist alongside it. There is no cost to attend, but spots are limited as we can only accept the first 50 moms – so register today!

Learn about Brairpatch Farm
Nestled in the heart of Putnam County, Georgia, Briarpatch Farm has sustained its owners from the land for over 120 years. A legacy built on faith, family, and hard work, it all began with a deep love for the outdoors, nature, and animals. Now in its fifth generation, the farm continues to evolve while holding steadfast to its roots. Over the years, the family run farm has cultivated cotton, dairy, and timber, and today, raises high-quality beef—feeding families far and wide. As stewards of this land, they are committed to working it with care, raising livestock responsibly, and ensuring that what we build today leaves a lasting, positive impact for future generations. visit the Briarpatch Farm website
